All right, turn to John Chapter 4. This is the last message in our series Let's Go.

And we are again going to be getting the new series next weekend,

but this one is the last one in the let's go series. The first

message was called let's come in the second message let's go out last

weekend's message the third message was Let's Be Friends, and this title might

hit you a little bit differently, but the title this week is, Let's Eat. Now I'm not referring to the end of the fast all right I know many of us went on a 21 day fast and that's not where this title came from

It didn't you know I ended the fast and I thought oh okay. let's eat now that wasn't how I got it all right but you have to read in John chapter 4

to be able to get pick up why I named that all right so John 4 beginning in verse 5

John 4 verse 5 so he that near the plot of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. Now Jacob's well was there.

Jesus therefore being wearied. I want you to notice the word

weary, that Jesus was wearied or tired physically tired from his journey

set thus by the well it was about the sixth hour that means it was about 12 noon the day began counting the hours at the 6 a.m. so it'd be about 12 noon. A.m.

so it'd be about 12 noon. A woman of Samaray came to draw water. Jesus said to

her,

Give me a drink, for his disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.

Now remember that phrase, his disciples had gone away in the city to buy food.

Okay, here's what I want you to notice about this. Jesus was hungry, he was thirsty,

he was hungry because they went to buy food, he was thirsty because he asked for a drink and he was tired.

Jesus was a human being. He became a human and humans get tired and humans get hungry and humans get thirsty.

We still haven't explained the let's eat.

All right.

Now he has a conversation with this woman and then his disciples come back.
