The Saturn V rocket that launched the Apollo 11 astronauts into space is still the tallest,

heaviest and most powerful rocket ever flown.

I don't know a lot about rocketry.

I guess they figured out that they really didn't need that much thrust subsequently or I guess

they stuck with the Saturn V for quite a while.

But anyway, it was an amazing beast of a rocket, 363 feet tall, weighed 6.2 million pounds.
