Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the magnificent Monday edition of the yard, and this Monday even more magnificent than most.

We have so much to celebrate today. It's been a great weekend in Bulldog Athletics. We've got football news, we've got baseball news,

and of course, men's and women's basketball news. You know, it's one of those deals to

all year long. We kept thinking, can we make it? Can we make it? We made it. We did it. We made it.

And go back at the beginning of the year on the men's basketball side, there were a handful of folks

and said, hey, this team's capable of making the tournament

just kind of based on the parity in league this year.

And then we open up one in seven in SEC play

and we start thinking, okay, we're just going to kind of have to endure this.

Lo and behold, Chris Jans and the staff,

the great group of young men get us an NCAA tournament

birth on the women's side I think you know San Purcell may have had a few other pieces to

play with the expectation was to make the dance we made it now we're in two playing games

and I've read some people like oh oh, we're not getting respected.

Guys, the way you get respects to win, period.

You win games.

We lost some games down the stretch that we shouldn't have on both sides.

We drive some games we shouldn't.

I still think about both of those Georgia games.

But my point being is that respect is earned. I'm just happy to be

in the dance. And in fact that both teams are in, it gives us a lot to cheer for. And again,

when you start thinking about what it means for this academic athletic year, it's very significant.
