Thanks for joining me. This is episode 146, and this episode is part of a new series that I'll be doing over the next few weeks

of short episodes. These episodes will either be kind of some minimum survival mode type of

routines, or some of them will be tackling specific tasks like today's episode, which is going to be about

cleaning and organizing your pantry. Now, if you're just listening to this episode for fun today

and you're not actually working on your pantry, step one would basically be to make a list of containers to buy if you need them.

Maybe you already have canisters and other containers in your pantry. But I feel like a lot of us

don't have the right containers or over time they get messed up or something

because I had to buy new containers.

Or maybe you just want to remove everything and wipe down the shelves and reorganize.

So I'm just throwing that out there that my first step was to make a list of containers

so I would know how many to buy.

And I got some plastic containers.

You could also use glass if you prefer that.

And then I got some labels for those containers.

So that could be your first step. I did clean and organize my pantry before

I purchased the labels, but I went back later and added the labels. So anyway, if you're working

along with the show, though, step one is going to be to remove everything from your pantry shelves. That's the ideal.

Maybe place everything on your kitchen island, your countertops, or even your floor.

Some of you may be feeling anxiety right now at the prospect of removing everything from your pantry

and kind of creating a big mess.
