Good morning. It is 8.05 a.m. on Sunday morning. We are on the road. Yeah. And surprisingly, we've been on the road for

just over four hours. So my niece got married this weekend. So congratulations to them.

And they got married in Arkansas.

So we got up bright and early on Friday and drove to Arkansas.

And driving from Florida at Arkansas, we actually like gained an hour because of the time difference.

And so whenever we went into central time,

it kind of helped. But going back, the other way stinks because you lose an hour.

Yeah. So it is Sunday, April 24th. And this episode is going to be the first of, I don't know

how many, but we are going to incorporate several of these over the coming months,

and we're going to call them Let's Chat episodes.

Yeah, yeah.

So, but before we get into that, we actually wanted to kind of sort of address the weird elephant in the room with the Reedy Creek district issues.

So we've been asked multiple times recently on what our thoughts are or maybe to explain the

Reedy Creek Improvement District and the not really controversy surrounding that so much, but the issues with the Florida legislature and the not really controversy surrounding that so much,

but the issues with the Florida legislature and the governor.

And if you've listened to this podcast for any length of time,

you'll know that we do not talk about political issues on this podcast.

However, this has now become more of a new story,

and we're not going to talk about the politics behind the different sides of, you know, what's going on there.

But we're going to try to address as best we can the Reedy Creek Improvement District and what is happening now.

I mean, the way we understand it, because honestly we've been Floridians for all of four months now.

So this is still new to us.
