Welcome back my friends. It is time for you and for me to get our minds aligned with the

truth of God. Are you ready for that today? Do you realize that you need that today?

Oh, my friends, I hear from people all the time who send emails saying how much the

morning mindset helps them get their mind ready for the day because they recognize how much they need it.

My friends, do you have that realization that if you're going to live this day in a way that is consistent with the faith you profess,

your mind has got to be on track.

You've got to be alert.

You've got to be sober-minded.

You've got to be ready to take on the day in the power of Jesus Christ. Let's do it right now today.

We have been looking at the book of 1st Peter. We're in chapter one and we're right

down toward the end of the chapter looking at verse number 22. Now let's

remember the context of where we're at here. Peter has described to us this gloriously wonderful faith.

to about the last five to ten episodes

of the morning mindset and you'll get the context very well. We have this

wonderful faith that has been provided for us through our faith in Jesus Christ.

It's a true belief, a trusting in him.

And he has gone on and said that because we have that kind of faith,

we should be motivated to live consistently with that faith.

For example, we can't say that we are a vegan,

for example, and eat meat all the time.

It's just an inconsistency.
