So somewhere along the way, we have stopped seeing emotions as something to feel.

And maybe it's just me, but now emotions aren't just signals for you.

They become weapons to control others.

If someone makes you uncomfortable, they're toxic.

If someone doesn't validate your feelings, they are unsafe.

If someone holds you accountable, they're attacking you.

Here's the truth.

Emotions are not evidence.

They are not justification.

And they're not a past to manipulate the world around you because emotions were never meant to be

externalized like this.

They are internal data.

They tell you what's happening inside.

Not what's wrong with everyone else, but instead of processing

emotions, we are projecting them, weaponizing sadness instead of sitting with it, right? We use it to guilt

people into fixing it for us. We weaponize anger. Instead of understanding it, we lash out and

expect others to absorb the impact. We weaponize anger. Instead of understanding it, we lash out and expect others to absorb the impact.

We weaponize discomfort. Instead of working through it, we use it to silence, cancel, and or control.

The more that we do this, the weaker that we become, because we're handing our power over to everyone else.
