0:04.7	encounter. We talked a bit about it last week. This mysterious encounter that
0:09.2	this man by the name of Jacob has with what we believe to be an appearance of God. In fact most theologians
0:15.2	agree we believe this to be an early appearance of Jesus, a Christophony in the book of
0:20.7	Genesis. Can you believe it?
0:22.6	And I'd like to start there and talk today
0:26.6	about how you and I relate to our weaknesses,
0:30.7	how you and I relate to our weaknesses.
0:33.8	So I'm going to begin reading in Genesis chapter 32,
0:37.4	starting in verse 22.
0:38.4	Are you ready?

0:41.5	Feel good? Sitting next to somebody that you like?
0:45.0	If you're not, raise your... I'm just kidding,
0:48.0	I'm just kidding, don't do that, don't do that.
0:50.0	It says the same night, Jacob arose and took his two wives as two female servants and his 11 children.

0:58.0	Lord I thank you. I have one wife and three children, not two and 11.
1:06.0	That is, no, thank you. And cross the fort of the jabbook and he took them and sent them across the stream and everything else he had,
1:11.0	and Jacob was left alone.
1:14.0	Then a man wrestled with him until the breaking of the day.
1:17.2	When the man saw that he did not prevail against Jacob, he touched his hip socket.
