I called you, I think a couple of years ago to tell you about the abuse that my parents

did to me as a young person and throughout adulthood and the terminology used to describe them which was accurate was animals.

At the time of my call I asked you if it was a good idea to maintain a relationship with my mother.

I did not have one with my father because there were a few nice things that she did and just trying to stay connected and you your response was well if you want to hang out with animals that's your decision but basically basically don't expect them to change, which was totally accurate and it really did help me limit my interactions with her selectively three to four times a year.

And I was good with that and then in January my father decided to take his gun and shoot himself and he killed himself.

I had no relationship with him for seven years.

Nobody was surprised.

He didn't leave a note. He simply said my mother attests that he can no longer go on living and he killed himself at the house that she still lives in that we grew up in.

So with the whole family grieving, I was doing the best I could to be empathetic to their situation at the same time we're so glad that seven

years I never looked back and and I don't feel badly for him at all. He was not a good person. But now this brings me to my mother where my brother is very enmeshed with her and he's up at the house, you know,
