strength and great encouragement. I want to just thank

everybody that gives faithfully to and through Zoe Church. It's the first Sunday of the month here

in L.A. And so we want to say a huge thank you for partnering with us. If you'd like to give today,

message from Dr. Allen Tennyson.

I want to thank so much, Pastor Chad and Julia, for allowing me to be here. It is an honor

to be speaking on conference Sunday. And I also want to say thank you to Zoe Church.

You have been a place of love and service for the city of Los Angeles. And that matters to me

because I lived in Los Angeles. I was a pastor in L.A. for 15 years. And though I moved on,

you never really leave the place where you loved and you served other people. I want to thank

you so much for your service to this city.

I moved here many, many years ago, could not afford a nice place to live.

I moved into a studio apartment,

a very small studio apartments, that had a Murphy bed. And when you lowered the bed,

the apartment disappeared. It was the easiest apartment to clean in the world. That apartment had

two doors. It had a door to the hallway and a door to the bathroom.

Then when I moved further out of Central LA, I was able to afford a one bedroom.

That one bedroom had four doors.
