As we begin this guided prayer together to allow ourselves the gift of open space,

anticipating and expecting for God to meet us here.

Jesus promised his followers that he would give them rest for their soul. Do you feel tired?

Have you ever felt tired even after you've slept a long time? Maybe, perhaps, you need rest, not just for your body, but for your soul.

Jesus promised rest for your mind, your will, and your emotions.

As we go through these guided moments, I am anticipating and expecting for you to see and feel a difference in your mind, your will, and your emotions from these moments with Jesus.

Rest for your soul, for your soul.

God, we surrender and we yield

to your restoration,

to your refreshing, to your reforming, and you're regenerating right now in the deepest parts of our being that we don't even really understand.

Meet us and minister to us there.

We give you our cares, we give you our concerns.

We give you these things that weigh on our mind and our heart and our body.

We yield them to you.

Turning out, turning off the outside world, just for a moment.

Going inward, to listen, to be attentive, and to adhere to his nudging, his directing, and his leading.
