| 0:00.0 | Hello, my friends. Welcome back. If you are new to the Morning Mindset, I want to welcome |
| 0:07.8 | you especially. It's great to have you here. The Morning Mindset is an opportunity for |
| 0:11.8 | you and for me to get our minds aligned with the truth of God. We really need to live |
| 0:17.9 | every day. With our minds on the path, God would have us walking, aligned with Him and |
| 0:23.6 | with His will. That's our goal is to take some of the truths of the Scriptures, ponder |
| 0:28.1 | them today and put them in practice in a way that honors God. If you are new to the Morning |
| 0:34.4 | Mindset or if you just have anything you'd like to share with me, I'm always available |

| 0:45.2 | Today, we're going to be looking at some lessons for leaders. First off, let me say you |

| 1:03.0 | a leader, perhaps in more subtle ways, but nevertheless, one who influences others |
| 1:07.9 | for good or for evil. That today, we're going to be looking at three verses from Proverbs |
| 1:12.2 | chapter 20, where Solomon mentions truths or facts or situations about a king. Now, |
| 1:19.6 | in his day, a king was the ultimate leader. It was the one who was over a nation and |
| 1:24.4 | the one who made decisions and the one who went to war and all of that kind of stuff. |
| 1:28.7 | So he's talking about those in high positions of leadership, but I find that these verses |
| 1:34.3 | have lessons for us who are in lesser roles of leadership. Let's look at Proverbs 20, verse |
| 1:40.1 | number two. It says, the terror of a king is like the growling of a lion. So stop there |
| 1:46.1 | for a moment. Imagine you hear a lion out in the woods growling. You're going to have |
| 1:51.3 | some some terror rise up in your heart, right? You're going to wonder what in the world |
| 1:55.3 | is that? It goes on. It says, whoever provokes him to anger, forfeits his life. So he's |
