John, I talked it over and we figured this is a good time on a day off to record this week's pod,

given that we're looking ahead to the conference finals right now.

And also, I just, I really wanted to talk to you after that last round of basketball.

It was crazy.

I think the one thing that you really hit on in your Twitter feed was that this might be the

most shocking single basketball game that we, that we've seen almost in memory in terms of not necessarily a series

where it's slowly turned differently from where we thought, but just a single game where

you were just like, what the hell just happened here? I mean, the only one I can even think of

that's probably close as far as like a single game and especially a

seventh game like that would be do you remember it was it was a meaningless series is the problem

but there was an Indiana Boston series where Indiana just beat the absolute tar out of Boston

in Boston in game seven um 2006 uh yeah it's uh the the year it was somewhere in the Germain O'Neill era, I think.

Um, Al Jefferson may have been prominently involved.

I'm not sure.

Um, it was definitely pre-Garnet though.

Right, right.

And then, yeah, Boston, then they tanked the next year, got the five pick, traded

for Raid Allen and then it traded for KG.

Yeah, but that one also, I mean, that wasn't, this is a 64 win team.

Hadn lost at home yet in the playoffs and had blown the Mavericks out in all three of the home games before this.
