In uncertain days, it is important to remember that our world is getting ready to meet God.

We are all getting ready to meet Him.

The King is coming.

Today, we join Scott Pauli in walking through the final book of the Bible, the Revelation

of Jesus Christ.

Do you remember early in our study in the book of Revelation, I said to you that there will be three waves of judgment in the tribulation period and leading up to the end of time?

And we studied the first two waves. First, there were the seal judgments.

Remember the seven seals? Each were broken, each one brought forth some judgment.

Then there were the trumpet judgments. And then there was a third wave. We've come to that

particular section of the book of Revelation now. It's almost like, if you could imagine for a

moment, a military advance. Imagine there's an initial attack, and then they press the battle a little further and then

there's that final push that brings the victory, that brings it to a great conclusion. Well,

that's really what we're witnessing in the book of Revelation. This is what's going to happen.

The Lord is going to bring his judgment upon this world in three distinct waves.

And now we've come to the third wave, the most intense and the final.

It's found, at least the introduction of it, in Revelation chapter 15, and it is referred to here

as the last plagues.

Now, you remember these judgments, these final judgments were called the vial

judgments, V-I-A-L, like a bowl being broken, poured out. That's the that's the typology, the

picture that's given here. And when the bowls get poured out, when the vials get broken,

what comes out? The Bible refers to these judgments as

plagues. Now, honestly, I can't think of anything more understandable at this particular
