I want to talk to you a little bit about Pentecostalism before I start tonight.

Because there are some things that have been filed. I don't identify as a Pentecostal. First of all tonight. Because there are some things that have been filed.

I don't identify as a Pentecostal, first of all, because I don't want to be named after a feast.

I'll be a Holy Spirit man.

That's fine with me.

But I'm not interested in being named after a feast, nor am I interested in being categorized

and therefore caged by conceptions and stereotypes. It's very dangerous. I appreciate the

Pentecostal expression, but I think we've migrated so far away from what genuine Pentecostalism is

that it's much like the term evangelicalism to me, which is not something I'm jealous to be identified either.

And currently, I'm not real crazy about being called a Christian.

Now, Yahweh will call us to recover some of those things.

But I'm not going to pick a battle that I wasn't born for.

And I need you to know that shouting predates

Pentecostalism. Ask the people of Jericho. And there's some things in you that you need to

release out of you and not allow what Yahweh is teaching us to become so academic that it never causes

your walls to fall. Getting these things sorted out in your head is a positive, but it's not where it

should stop. There's got to be a migration down into the deepest parts of who you are where you rethink

who God is based solely on the revelation presented to us in Yeshua.

And as we begin to make that adjustment, we begin to make that shift, something has to begin

to happen on the inside of us that gives us the ability to find places where an expression

of Thanksgiving is equal to the measure of transformation we've experienced.
