states that's right we we're actually back in the den V E R Denver.

Oh you're funny. The Denver we were back in Denver when the last episode came out and I had my dates mixed up so when we were

recording that I said pray for us will probably still be on the trail when this comes out

We'd been back for like I don't know 12 hours when someone texted me they're just like oh you're not back yet I just

listen to your most recent podcast I'm like no we actually are back actually

Jake was dumb. So we are we are back from the community

San Diego we're a week in you've been back in the parish I've been filling in a

couple places went camping and that's right you're

still on vacation said mass for some friends up in Steamboat your assignment

hasn't started yet but you're about to move to Glenwood Springs and you'll assignment will start and then you'll be in the parish and hopefully not overly attached to the parish.

That's always the temptation for priests is to think that your parish is the most

important part of your life which I mean it is very important don't get me wrong but

you should still take vacation. I'd flip that around I don't know if

priests think the parish is the most important thing I think it is right to think the

parish is the most important thing in your life I think sometimes priests think the parish can't exist without

them right and then they're like oh I can't leave because the the meeting won't

happen right you become co-dependent with your

community, but no cod dependent relationship is a good relationship. So most important thing in your life is your parish, your community,
