I'm Jimmy Wallace. Just look at this issue on this edition of the incarnate investigation. One night officers work in the north end of our city were investigating a call of a suspicious person when they saw a suspect run from them and start hopping fences in a residential neighborhood.

That night my trainee and I were working with the adjoining D area so we rolled up to assist them looking for the suspect.

Once my trainee and I were in the neighborhood,

I could see someone from a distance away, several blocks away,

I could see someone run across the street,

but I could only see him in Siloy.

And unfortunately, as we got closer,

the guy was nowhere to be seen.

So we were pretty confident that this suspect was nearby,

and we were canvassing the area

trying to see if he was hiding somewhere.

As we were driving past a business, this business had a rear parking lot.

My training asked me, hey sir, should we check the parking lot for the suspect?

I could tell from the look on his face of my trainee was hurt by my response. We'd only worked together a couple

weeks and I had already begun worrying about his ability to make decisions. Now my response to his
