Today, I'm into my fourth week of teaching on lessons from Elijah.

That's a book that I put out many years ago, and I tell you, this is something that the Lord has used in my life in a very powerful way.

And so I not only have the book, but I have a study guide that is designed to teach Bible studies, Sunday School things like that, to disciple other people.

And then I have CDs and DVDs, and we'll be promoting all of those at the end of the program today.

Let me just say that I've covered a lot of material. There's no way I can go back through everything.

But in 1st Kings, chapter 17 and 18, Elijah just had nothing but successes.

He was used in ways that nobody else up until that time in the Bible had ever been used.

He saw a person race from the dead, the very first person, and just other things.

And so it was just a string of unbroken successes.

But after he had challenged the prophets of Bale to duel, in a sense, a demonstration, let their, you know, the God who answers supernaturally led him be the God.

And he called fire down out of heaven.

And the people fell on their face and the Lord, he is the God, the Lord, he is the God.

He had them kill all 850, at least 450 prophets of Bale, possibly another 400 prophets of the groves.

So a total of 850 prophets, and he just slew them. He turned the entire nation back to God.

He had seen these great things happen. But, and I made a point of this on last Friday and Monday's broadcast.

I haven't got time to go back through it. And so if what I'm saying doesn't seem to ring true to you, you need to go back and watch those programs.

Because I brought out in 1 Kings, chapter 19, verse 4, that all of Elijah's downfall happened because he thought he was better than his father.
