0:01.7	I'm your Bible study friend Holly and welcome to the Heart Dive Podcast.
0:08.7	Today we're going to be reading Deuteronomy chapters 17 through 20 and we're in the heart
0:16.3	of the body of Deuteronomy.
0:18.5	So we have talked about the history and now we're in this like big section of the laws of Deuteronomy. So we have talked about the history, and now we're in this, like,
0:21.8	big section of the laws and statutes. This particular section about chapter 16 to 20,
0:28.8	I can't remember right off the bat, but it is covering civil law, particularly in 17 through 19,
0:35.2	we're going to talk about leadership. And this is religious
0:38.3	leadership as well as like a civil leadership. So I'm ready to dive in. But as always,

0:56.4	I love going back and looking at our very first video and seeing people saying, checking in

1:11.6	We see other people finishing it in the two or three years that we've been online. It is not a race.
1:17.3	It is a marathon. And as long as we keep running the race well and know that we will finish and
1:23.6	hear, well done, my good and faithful servant. That's all that matters.
1:28.3	So if you are watching this out of time, just keep going, keep pushing.
1:33.3	Because as long as you are writing his word on your heart, you are right where you need to be.
1:40.3	So with that being said, let's give the Lord our heart before we dive in today.
1:45.5	Dear Heavenly Father, we give you this time once again to just quiet all the noise,
1:50.5	remove all the distractions, and let us see your word on the pages come alive.
