left Sinai and now they're wandering through the desert and they begin they're complaining. This is kind of the fun part of numbers. I feel like this is where we get a lot of life application. to be your children. Thank you so much for this day. Thank you so much for your word. Thank you for

this opportunity and this time and place where we are able to gather together as brothers and sisters to read through

your word, Lord, every single word that you spoke and that it is written here before us, Lord,

is important. So I pray that we will recognize that. I pray Holy Spirit that you'll be here in our

midst. Will you speak to our hearts in a very personal way today, Lord? Not everyone is going to

hear the same message because that's not how you work, Lord. You meet us right where we're at. So we give you full permission to be able to dissect our hearts, Lord, and show us some healing that might need to take place or some fixing. And I pray that you will give us the strength and courage to be able to go and do the things that you have asked us to do in obedience,

and make things right if necessary. So please forgive us for our sins now, help us to forgive others. And I pray that everything that we do in word and deed will always be glorifying to your

name. We love you. We pray these things in Jesus' name. Yeah.

And So we jump right to it here in Chapter 11. The people begin their complaints and the people

complained in the hearing of the Lord about their misfortunes. And when the Lord heard it,

his anger was kindled and the fire of the Lord burned among them and consumed some outlying

parts of the camp. So they're experiencing some general discontentment here. And the reason why the

fire of God is now presenting itself is because God is a just God. And he's angered by their complaining,

especially because it is coming from this place of ingratitude. And that ingratitude in their hearts
