0:10.0	We did it. We made it through another book of the Bible. This was the middle of the Torah. So we had Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, and now we're jumping into numbers.

0:50.4	we go into the book of numbers, we'll see that numbers in Exodus actually kind of parallel
0:56.3	one another. So Exodus and then Leviticus, Leviticus, that they say it was like two weeks to
1:02.5	maybe two months. And now we're going to step into numbers. They've wandered away from Mount Sinai
1:07.0	just slightly. And now they're in the wilderness. And in the Hebrew Bible, they don't
1:13.2	actually call it numbers. They call it a different Hebrew term, and it means in the wilderness,
1:18.2	which I think is actually a little more fitting because they're going to wander in the
1:23.0	wilderness for 39 years. So I know I'm giving you a little synopsis overview of what numbers is and what to
1:29.4	expect within it. But there's going to be anecdotes along with kind of structure and order and
1:36.3	final instructions for the chosen people before the promised land. This is where we're going to hear
1:41.4	the story of the census, like how many people are in the
1:46.3	camp, what they were doing, like where they were going, how they were rebelled against God, and it led
1:53.0	to the wandering of 39 years. And then finally, coming to the promised land before we jump into Deuteronomy.
