0:04.6	Heart Dive podcast. Welcome back to Bible Study friends. I feel like it's been so long since I
0:15.6	have sat in this chair and been able to do Bible study with you guys. I'm happy to be back.

0:21.2	our mini heart dive retreat with some of our volunteers. And of course, you saw that I got to
0:25.9	visit with Holly. So that was a lot of fun. Right after that, I had to travel again with my daughter
0:30.1	for a school trip. So it's just been madness and chaos. So thank you so much for being patient
0:35.8	with us as we move through this season. We are definitely
0:38.8	excited for how God is moving in this season. He's doing some things. He's doing a work and
0:43.3	we can't wait to share with you guys some of the things that he's got in store for us. Today, we are
0:47.6	in chapters 17 and 18 of Leviticus. So this is part two of Lesson 14. Holly took us through
0:53.6	Chapter 16, which was the Day of Atonement. Most scholars believe that Chapter 16 of Leviticus. So this is part two of Lesson 49. Holly took us through Chapter 16, which was
0:55.0	the Day of Atonement. Most scholars believe that Chapter 16 of Leviticus is the most
0:59.9	theologically significant chapter in the Old Testament. And we really wanted to be able to spend
1:04.8	some time in that because it is. It's a pinnacle moment of the sacrificial system and
1:09.9	foreshadowing what Jesus would be doing for us,
1:13.2	covering us by his blood, through his sacrifice, for our sins.
1:17.3	And so we will continue today in chapters 17 and 18.
1:20.7	I do want to give you a little bit of a warning.
1:23.0	We are talking about the laws surrounding sexual practices.
1:27.3	So we may need some mature ears to be here today.
