Welcome back to office hours. I am beyond excited. This is one of my heroes. This man has changed my life.

We are so blessed to have the opportunity to speak with the incredible inspirational motivational speaker.

He's also sat in the House of Representatives in Ohio, passed more legislations than anyone in history in his first year.

This guy, if he does it, he does it well. I do not really need to introduce him, but I have to, in case there's somebody that's been living in a cave,

the incredible Les Brown. Welcome to office hours. Thank you. It's a pleasure to be here.

Les, you know, what I love about what you have taught so many over the years is mindset.

And a lot of people have different ways to talk about mindset.

But some of us were not blessed into a silver spoon home.

Some of us weren't blessed into an economic benefit, a health benefit.

You have faced so many different challenges in your life, but yet you're a top to miss.

You have a mindset to find the light, the love and the lessons and everything.

What's the foundation of having such a positive mindset?

I read a quote one time that said, we don't know how strong we are until we have to be strong.

And so to me, it's about challenging yourself.

Like, for instance, as I talked to you now, I've been diagnosed with a fourth stage prostate cancer.

And they said it metastasized.

I'm watching my language because your body here is everything you say in seven different areas of the body.

And when my oncologist told me that, Dr. Goulson, I got excited.

And he said, why are you smiling?

I said, man, seven is my lucky number.

I was born February the 17th.
