So today we are going to talk about American history and legacies and imagery.

Because we are getting what may be the final story, the final chapter in a piece of iconic American imagery that probably hasn't it hasn't dawned on people

how iconic it is and how long it's going to be printed in history books.

When you think about American history, oftentimes it is through images.

A lot of times we remember the image and don't really remember

anything else. I think most people can remember the Marines, the imagery of the Marines pushing up that flag.

What island? What mountain? What was the strategic goal? Why was it so important? The overwhelming

majority of people will have no clue. But they'll remember that imagery.

And that imagery, that triumphant imagery is used as a place marker for the American victory in the Pacific. That's what it's

associated with. the Trump legacy will be an officer being beat with an American flag.

That's going to be the iconic imagery that sums up his legacy and January 6th. Peter Francis Stager, man from Arkansas,

the man who wielded that American flag.

He was just sentenced, four years and four months.

Prosecution was asking for six years and six months.

His name will be a footnote in history books for a really long time.

It will be brought up. That imagery will be printed. It will be in documentaries. It's going to be around a long, long, long time.

A quote that has been attributed to Stager,

every single one of those capital law enforcement officers, death is the remedy. That is the only remedy they get.

That will probably be part of Trump's legacy, that quote, it'll be printed alongside

that imagery.
