Being criticized is never easy

unless you're very healthy and you've done a lot of work on yourself and then you can take all the the good from the criticism.

I'm not quite there yet in my life.

And so when I've gotten bad reviews as an actor, which I have many times a lot of I've been in a lot of movies that have gotten bad reviews.

I've struggled with it.

And to the point where I kind of had to go off Twitter and not read stuff about the movies I was doing, Christian and I

directed a movie that we were very proud of that got some very good reviews, but some bad reviews.

And that was difficult from humorless people.

Yeah, I should have clarified.

And recently I got I had a very good experience with some reviews, including one from the great Stephen King.

He tweeted to somebody.

Somebody said, have you watched Barbarian with Justin Long and Bill Scarsgard as available on HBO?

They said to Stephen King and Stephen King said, yeah, that movie blew me away.

It was crazy. Crazy. Good.

Now who cares? You might be saying this is strictly what we call in the podcast is a brag.

Well, you care and it's your podcast.

That's true, but it's pretty lame of me to be just using this as a platform to regurgitate something really positive that somebody says about me.

I think it's okay. And you know what they say? You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and there you have.

You don't both have to quote the opening song from the facts of life.
