Summary

Alright, this weekend we’re back in Leogang, a track the riders know well, with historically tight margins. The weather has swung between sunshine and storms all week, giving the riders constantly changing track conditions to deal with. Keeping it rubber side down has been a challenge. As always, we were treated to incredible racing and I’m joined by Neko and Olly to dig into what went on. So sit back, hit play and listen to this Leogang World Cup post-race show with Neko Mulally and Olly Morris.

All right folks, World Cup Racing was back this weekend in Lear Gang for round three. And this

0:08.6

is your Maxis Tires post-race show with Nico Malali and Olli Morris. Maxis is synonymous with

0:14.3

racing and is the name that comes to mind when you think of performance. It's no surprise then that

0:18.7

they've won more than any other brand in the history

0:21.3

of World Cup racing. No matter where or how you ride, Maxis has the tyres for you with a wide

0:26.3

range of tread patterns, casing and compound options. For me personally, on the Enjuro bike,

0:31.2

I run the DHR2 Max Terra double down on the rear, paired with the Asagai Max grip up front

0:36.3

using their slightly lighter XO plus casing, which for me is tough enough for most of the riding I do. On the downhill bike, I've got the DHR2's front and rear, both with DH casing with their super grippy Max grip compound. You can check out the entire range of Maxis tires over at maxis.com and find the tires at your local maxis dealer. You can also give them a follow

So without further ado, here's your Maxis Tires post-race show

with Nico Malali and Olly Morris.

Okay, Nico Malawi and Olly Morris. Welcome back. We've had another incredible weekend of racing out in Lear Gang. Niko, we'll start with you, man. You had a fairly heavy crash by the sounds of it out in the US before heading over to Europe for this one. Just tell us a little bit about that. Yeah, I was doing the second round of the Monster Energy Pro Downhill Series back in the US. We have four races this year. It's a new series,

1:50.2

and I was trying to support it. I attend every round myself. And I had a pretty big crash in practice

1:57.0

there. It was kind of out of the blue. I clipped a pedal on a rock and just had a big over

2:01.8

the bars. Got checked out and luckily didn't have any major injuries, but I definitely had a

2:07.8

concussion and had just felt like I got hit by a car. So I spent the week before coming over to

2:14.2

Europe just resting as much as I could. It seems like sleep is the one thing that actually helps with recovery, proven to help for me.
