It's a big day in Kansas City as the city council will vote on Thursday afternoon to build a brand new stadium for the Kansas

City Royals. We'll get to that a little bit later in the podcast as we've been following that news

very closely. And by the time you listen to this, it may have already happened. So we'll save that

for the back end. And reluctantly, I begin today with the story that I've been trying to avoid for

several days. Many of you have emailed me.

I've seen a lot of posts and back and forths on Twitter and different social media platforms,

but it will not go away.

It is Donald John Trump versus Pope Leo, and this story is not going away,

as the Democrats have found yet another tool, another avenue,

another way just months before the midterms to try to attack Donald Trump,

strip voters away from him and win the midterms.

They are really, really good at elections, ladies and gentlemen.

They are not good at much else, but they are using Pope Leo as a weapon. He is more than willing to

do that. He has been anti-Trump for a long, long, long, long time before he ever thought

there might be a day that he'd be the Pope. You can go back and read what he has posted on Facebook pages, social media and stuff

for well over a decade, and Pope Leo has been anti-Trump, anti-all-things conservative,

and basically as much a devout Catholic as he is a devout liberal American.

And that's who and what he is at his core.

And how the Catholic Church got to this place is beyond me, because when I was growing up, it was the single most conservative thing

in the history of the world. I question things about the Catholic Church because it was so

conservative. Things like, mom, how come priests can't get married you know you start asking questions
