Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

The theme of our meditation today is we shall not be defeated.

Let's call to mind all those that we've promised to pray for, especially little Eli scope. He is improving, but he still needs

our prayers.

Once the Roman Emperor Constantine legalized Christianity, there have only been a few rare times in which our churches have been closed and we were not able to make use of the greatest spiritual weapons, the Holy sacrifice of the Mass and the Eucharist, as well as the

sacrament of reconciliation.

There were isolated places that churches were closed during the Bubonic plague, isolated places during the Spanish flu in 1918.

Outside of that, people were not able to receive the sacraments in many places under government mandated atheism under Marxist communism in the

former Soviet Union. Now here we are today in which much of the world is

without these powerful weapons of the Eucharist

and confession. I understand the good that is achieved by stopping the spread of

the coronavirus. The devil also knows how powerful the euchrist

and reconciliation are and how much more he can accomplish in a world in which we

are not using these weapons against him.

However, we can still avail ourselves of all the graces that come from these sacraments

in this spiritual war and beat the devil at his own game. So rather than being angry or sad

that we can't receive the sacraments or just saying oh well and doing nothing and

let the devil get the upper hand every day until Easter

take up these three weapons in the spiritual battle. Make a good examination of conscience and an act of contrition. Make a spiritual
