week one of Lent. We are reading the whole book of Psalms for Lent. I am so eager to just jump right in.

And today we are joined in person by a beloved friend, my very first pastor when I moved to Franklin

20 years ago, Dr. George Grant,

friend of the podcast, he's been on many times before. Dr. Grant is the now Emeritus Pastor

at Parish Presbyterian Church in Franklin. He's the author of 92 books. Sorry, I was supposed to be

quiet. He is the chancellor of Franklin Classical School, the director of the Chalmers Fund, and many other things. Y'all, you are in for a treat, and I'm going to take no more seconds because I'm going to give them all to him. Let's get right to it. Dr. Grant, welcome back to the She Reads Truth podcast. And we get to talk about the greatest things in the world. That's right. That is true.

The love of God has revealed in the scriptures. Amen. That's right. And I mean, our friends listening don't know this, but this is like new season recording for us. And so we're back in the recording chairs in a different location. Now we're recording from my house now. Yeah. But we're in person, which is nice. It's so nice. And it's so. At the vista. Of the road. I've seen better vistas, but, you know, so there you go. You've got some cars going by. Yeah. There we go. Friends listening, I am so happy that you're listening because so much to talk about. First and foremost, if you have been reading along

with us, it means that you likely closed the book of Acts yesterday. And today, with us, you are

opening the book of Psalms. And as a community, we've never read the full book of Psalms. This is like

one of the last. And so to get to do this for Lent, Dr. Grant, there are a

couple of questions. I'm going to ask all at once. Okay. And then you can answer them all at once.

All at once. So here's what we want to hear from you. I'm going to start with, so as I understand it,

you are preaching through the book of Acts at your church with the other pastor.

Yes.

So if our community just finished Acts, one of the things is help us as a community transition

from out of the Book of Acts into the Book of Psalms.
