We did a podcast episode, we did a Patreon episode and we moved on our merry way until we got the DM of a lifetime.

Caroline Calabay, you may know her from the internet and honestly know her else. Reach out to us to defend the one and only Lena Dunham.

And we thought, oh my god, a dream come true. There's truly no one better qualified to defend Lena Dunham and no one who would, I think, besides Caroline.

And so I'm so happy that she was able to come over and have a conversation with us.

We ranted and raved for truly hours. We do not have time to even get into how our weeks work because honestly this is how our week was.

Our week was mostly just fighting with Caroline Calabay on July 4th. America's oldest and most treasured past time.

Welcome Caroline Calabay to our studio. We are here at Caroline Reach Dutch West as a defender of Lena Dunham.

She has listened to the podcast. If you guys haven't listened to our first Lena Dunham episode or Lena Dunham Patreon, it is not quite a secret that we didn't adore her book, not that kind of girl.

And Caroline reached out to us and said, you guys are looking at it all wrong. And I wanted to like Lena Dunham and I-

Did you? That's such a lie.

Okay, okay. I feel like you have some deep-seated anger issues around how you were forced to earn your own money and like really kind of project those onto anyone who you feel like had it easier.

Well, I actually don't think that's true. I actually think-

I do.

I think my deep-seated anger issues are actually that people think that I don't pay my own bills and I have worked very hard my whole life.

And so it's not even that I've had to work hard. It's that I work so hard and then people think I don't work hard. And then I'm just like, what the fuck?

Well, I think you can be both. I give off big, erous energy. I mean, like people literally think that I'm like worth millions and like I'm very much from a parking lot in Virginia.

Like basically born raised in like a blockbuster parking lot. That's my whole suburb strip mall.
