When we talk about the NBA we naturally think before

I guess a week ago we think of a league that's the what the cool kids say is woke where they're

socially conscious they're socially aware they make choices that are popular with the players

that are popular with the media that are popular with the players, that are popular with the media, that are popular

with fans in general. Look at the track record of the NBA in socially conscious situations.

They have, let's count them, kick Donald Stern out of the league basically for racist comments

made surreptitiously recorded by his mistress.

They have withheld an all-star game from North Carolina based on a bathroom bill

discriminatory to LGBTQ rights. They have the commissioner, speaking of gay rights, gay pride,

parade, he wrote in a float with Jason Collins.
