Democrats today did something good. Non-Maga media actually beat back Trump today. And they won. Democrats and non-Maga media actually enjoyed a win. They saved Medicaid

and the 72 million poor Americans who rely on Medicaid. This is huge. We're going to get into

all of it. But for once, you've got to be happy that the Democrats, the only party that

is trying to save democracy right now, actually grew us fine for once. We had the perfect person to discuss with us.

And that is Rachel Pita Copper, a national political analyst for the cycle on Substack,

episode of which digs into shock and awe elements of this second Trump presidency.

Well, how did they, this is a Trump F up, no doubt about it. And Democrats

saved Medicaid. It is, but I mean, there's two elements, right? I mean, number one,

the fact that they have the Hutzpah to argue that they don't have to distribute federally

approved and signed into law federal funding, right? I mean, this is a very outlandish,

illegal, probably unconstitutional,

like, you know, effort. But what double makes it wild is they put this thing out about

four o'clock yesterday to go into effect 24 hours later, a full, and they announced it a full

federal freeze on spending, right?

So, like, it didn't, what should worry you is that it didn't occur to them,

that it would cause problems, right?

Like, they never even thought it through.

Like, you could see all day that they were shocked that the government actually does
