I don't know if you guys have heard the story about today's show, anchor Savannah, Guthrie's mother. Well, there is a new twist to that story. There's a new deadline. We have investigative reporter or producer from TMZ that's going to come on in just a moment to discuss. Let me just catch you up on this if you don't know. A little bit later on in the hour, we have Congressman Robert Garcia, who's head of

the Oversight Committee for Democrats. He's going to talk to us about the Epstein File and other

things as well. The search for Nancy Guthrie is her name. She's the mother of today's show host

Savannah Guthrie. It has entered its fifth day as the local and federal authorities are

continuing to investigate her possible abduction. Again, there's some

new updates here that we're going to give you. It's the Pima County Sheriff and his name is Chris

Nanos. He said at a news conference today that there are still no suspects in the case. And again,

there may be something now as we are going on the air because at five o'clock, I believe it's five o'clock Eastern time.

It could be five o'clock Arizona time. I'm not sure we would need to check on that, that there

would be a new deadline. So that's what he said at a news conference today. Still no suspects.

Mrs. Guthrie is 84 years old. She was reported missing on Sunday afternoon from her home outside of Tucson, Arizona, after she did not show up at church. She was last seen around 9.45 p.m. the previous day when family members dropped her off at home, authorities have offered a timeline of the night that Guthrie disappeared, noting that her doorbell camera was disconnected at 147 a.m.

Sunday and that software in the home detected a person on camera at 212 a.m.

But no video is available. And so there are reports that indicate that a ransom note or

ransom notes have been sent to three news outlets referencing Guthrie. NBC News

has not seen copies of them and no law enforcement agency has substantiated the reports.

That's important because she does work for NBC News, which owns the Today Show, which runs

the Today Show. The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to either the recovery of Nancy Guthrie or the arrest of anyone involved in her disappearance.

Now, her family, including Savannah Guthrie, put out a heart-wrenching video, a plea for the person to return her mother and telling her mother to stay strong.

Okay? This is agonizing to watch, but here it is.
