The government of the United States of America has shut down, not because, I mean,

we didn't run out of money. As I told you yesterday, we are a rich country. We have a lot of money. It's just how we allocated it. And then there are a lot of folks who want to hang on to their money and become billionaires and trillionaires. So we are closed down the government, not because the people failed, not because we ran out of money, but because the men in power decided that our lives, that your paychecks, that your health care, that your safety were bargaining chips in this game of vengeance and one-upsmanship.
