Resilience, making it's usually not the people who are sending people off the war, especially as it relates to this Trump administration, because the Trump war machine

becomes a family business right now.

So let me take you back to 1916.

A pretty radical constitutional amendment started gaining traction.

It proposed that all acts of war should be put to a national vote, and that anyone who voted

yes would have to register as a volunteer for service

in the united states army so if you voted yes for war then you'd have to say yes i volunteer for

service right now think about that for a moment if you were willing to send people to war you

should be willing to go yourself i mean it sounds fair during the last round of american wars in

the middle east people revived that idea.

But with one small adjustment, if you vote yes for war, then your children should have to register for the draft too.

In other words, war should not be something that you support from a safe distance.

It should cost you something personally.

It should affect you personally.

And that way you'll make things twice or three times or a number of times before sending people off to war.
