Summary

After Tuesday’s massive blue wave, Don sits down with journalist and political analyst Ahmed Baba to break down what it all means and what comes next. Voters across the country rejected MAGA’s cruelty and chaos, delivering big wins for Democrats and a clear message that America is ready for change. But as Don and Ahmed stress, now is not the time to get comfortable. Can Democrats keep up the momentum heading into 2026? Is this the beginning of the end for MAGA, or just another calm before the storm? Don and Ahmed unpack the results, the mood of the nation, and whether people are finally waking up to what’s really at stake. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

I saw demographics move to the left.

I think they said they had, they targeted 16 seats and won every single one of them.

1:23.3

We see they have now 64 seats in the Virginia House. And I grew up in Virginia, so that northern Virginia area where a lot of these swings happened, we see big, big momentum.

1:33.2

So even though this was like a blue state, it had a Republican governor just now, right?

1:38.5

And now that that has been moved out for Abigail Spanberger.

1:41.0

And if you drill down to some of these counties, Loudoun County, for example, Spanberger won that by 64, or basically 64% of the vote, which is eight points

1:49.9

higher than Harris won it. So every single marker swings to the left, and it's not just
