Good evening. Thank you guys for coming out for this debate tonight. I'm Evan McClanahan. I'm the pastor of First Lutheran. I'll be the moderator for this event as well. I'm curious

who maybe has the home team tonight if you're, say, side with Layton. Raise your hand.

Okay. And Dr. White. Okay, maybe pretty close, 55, 45 maybe. All right. Just curious, that was interesting. Okay. If you need to use the restroom, it's that way, go in that door, back hallway. Or you can go out that door and walk all the way around but that's

where you'll find it if you like theological debate and conversation I want to

plug theology by the pint it's a local Houston ministry once a month craft

beer theological conversation and debate so if you like beer, theological conversation, and debate.

So if you like beer and theological conversation, you should come.

Questions.

In your program, you should have a piece of paper for your question. Write your question. They will be taken up after the

rebuttals. The questions will be taken up after the rebuttals. We're going to take like a five-minute

break for the speakers to go to the restroom if needed, not you, the speakers. So that'll be after the rebuttals. We'll gather questions

for the Q&A later. Both speakers will be next door after the event. You can, again, go out the door you came in, walk around the sidewalk. I'll try to have those doors unlocked. If one of my members is here with a key,

help me out with that. Otherwise, you can go through that door and go through the bell tower. Do not

ring the bell. And then the room closest to the bell tower will be where Dr. White will be.

We've got to keep you guys separated. Down the hall, down the hall will be Dr. Flowers,

and they can take pictures or sign books or whatever it is that they do. If you're watching
