Summary

Paul Hawksbee and Andy Jacobs settle into their chairs for another podcast of sporting chaos, joined by guests ranging from Arsenal royalty to the elite world of Padel.

Arsenal’s Invincible goalkeeper Jens Lehmann joins the show to share his unique perspective on the evolution of goalkeeping, discussing everything from the art of the long kicks to the modern necessity of playing out from the back. He also gives a blunt assessment of where the current Gunners side stand after their recent battle with Manchester City.

The football talk continues with Henry Winter, who drops by for his definitive Premier League review, picking through the bones of the weekend’s biggest results.

Shifting focus to the global game, Gerard Baker from the Wall Street Journal joins the guys to discuss the business of sport, specifically addressing the growing fan frustration regarding the soaring cost of World Cup tickets.

Finally, the boys head to the court with Team GB padel player Nikhil Mohindra. Nikhil talks through the explosion of the sport and recounts what it’s actually like to compete against superstars like Cristiano Ronaldo and David Beckham.

He just spent a week coaching and playing with Cristiano Ronaldo, and he gave us the inside track on that, which was very interesting. He plays with a lot of footballers. He does, including their own Darren Bent. You're here who's the best footballer at Paddle. That's right. And Gerald Baker, very interesting man, has been living in America for 30 years, editor at large of the Wall Street Journal, talking about all things World Cup. Yeah. And a bit of Coventry, because that's his team. So, here it all is. Good afternoon, everyone. Good afternoon, Andy.

What a Sweden fans wouldn't agree with you at the moment well there, obviously. He's doing very well Potter over there. Another great weekend for us than a production team that is predominantly Arsenal and us being Chelsea and Spurs. It was really tremendous. A bit of a gut punch that was at the end. Honestly, I was about to just take, honestly, I'd written few with everything, and I was going to send it right on the final, and then they go and score Brighton. Yeah, yeah, it was kind of coming. They sort of sat back a bit, and there was always that danger, because they are a good side, but, you know, you try and keep your hopes up up because it was a better performance, but it does all feel a little bit too little too late and you start all the what ifs come. What if they'd not gone down the Tudoroo? What if they'd talk to Zerby into it at an earlier stage? It's a bit early for that. I understand why you're doing it, but I still think they've got a chance. They're going to get six points, that's for sure. And we'll see what happens after that. I mean, you know, West Ham, they have been playing quite well. But, you know, I mean, tomorrow and I, I mean, that's a very interesting moment. Tomorrow like Chelsea are playing Brighton, I thought to myself, I'll take a 4-1 defeat. You know what? Because at least that I mean we scored our first goal for about seven games. You haven't scored for seven games?
