When people think of alchemy, they always think of, like you said, the 1500s, dark ages,

people trying to turn lead into gold.

That's kind of like a metaphor, though, right?

For like modern alchemy?

Or are you trying to do that?

Because that would be cool.

Oh, no, yeah.

We don't try.

We do do that.

But it's not just lead into gold. Let into gold is like one

facet. And the whole concept is that the transmutation of metals or the transmutation of things

is possible on a natural level. So all we're trying to do is show how that happens.

Like, for instance, if you go into a lead mine, you're probably also going to find a vein of gold in there somewhere.

If you find a gold mine, you'll definitely find lead.

You'll probably also find quartz.

There's a lot of different minerals that kind of grow together.

And so the way of thinking is that eventually what's happening there is that the lead that is inside of that mine is actually being converted into veins of gold over, say, millennia, you know, thousands and thousands and thousands of years.

So the alchemist taking a look at the natural world and seeing these correspondences and these things in nature just tries to be able to replicate them and see what that hyper evolution could look like if we can apply all

of the same process as nature would over 20,000 years to say maybe six months or two years.
