He is currently in the process of organizing a badge workshop for tabletop RPGs

where scouts learn the basics of D&D Fifth Edition, create a character, and of course participate in an adventure.

This is actually, you and I have gone back and forth on email a few times about this and we thought this is a really cool idea that you're doing and we want to help spread the word.

make a wild assumption here that if you're teaching D&D to Girl Scouts, you have a history with D&D.

You didn't just pick it up yourself probably?

Oh yeah.

So how were you first introduced?

It's kind of embarrassing, but back in grade school, we used to have the book fairs, and they used to sell the endless quest books in the book fairs.

And I picked up a couple of those.

And I was so interested in the monsters.

I went out and I saw the monster manual at a bookstore.

I bought it.

And from there, I didn't actually play for the first time for reels until I was in seventh
