We're a topic that is near and dear to my heart. And I have had

so much fun researching the information for this week's show.

We're going to be talking about laylines. And I have lots to say about laylines.

And I have lots of research to share with you that I have compiled

from lots of various websites. But before we get into a long discussion about

what laylines actually are and how research has evolved about them over centuries,

I want to tell you two stories. In 2011, I made my first pilgrimage to Southwest England.

One of the things I of course took with me was my pendulum.

Because I had understood that when you are in a place where laylines intersect

or cross over a particular location, a pendulum in your hand does not spin or move

and circles or lines or whatever. But it absolutely just is still vibrates.

And that happened to me twice on that pilgrimage. In one case, I was standing

at the high altar at Glastonbury Abbey. And this is a roped off area inside

the abbey where the high altar stood before the abbey was destroyed.

And as I held my pendulum over that space, it did exactly that.

It vibrated in my hand to the point that my arm was vibrating.

A few days later, as I held my pendulum over the king stone in the center of Stonehenge,

it did the same thing. And I just thought that that was an amazing gift to actually experience

what it feels like to stand on a lay line. So what does that mean? What are they?
