Shane. Okay, so today we are talking about this is, I actually knew the story before. I think because

I had seen it probably on 2020 or something like that. So I was familiar with it, but it is a series

on Hulu called Mr. and Mrs. Murder.

And when I started watching it the other day, I was like, oh, I know this story. I have seen

this before. So it's very interesting. We're going to talk about high school friends.

Seems to be a theme here. Who ends up not being friends anymore. So the victim's name is Mike Williams. He was a 31-year-old

real estate appraiser from Tallahassee, Florida. And he disappeared on December 16th of 2000

after leaving for a duck hunting trip at Lake Seminole.

We're talking about Florida, all right?

So geographically, we are now in Florida.

His boat and some hunting gear were found, and authorities initially ruled the case an accidental drowning, though his body was never recovered.

Mike's mother spent years pushing officials to reinvestigate,

believing his death was suspicious. The case took a major turn years later when Mike's best friend

Brian Winchester, who had married Mike's widow, Denise, confessed to killing him and led investigators

to his remains.

Brian Winchester said he committed the murder at Denise's request so they could be together and benefit from a large life insurance payout.

So we've got all the key players.
