And this is Edis Lapidus. It's a podcast where we watch movies that are nostalgic to us and then chat about them. This week, folks, we watched legally blonde. Quite the way to kick off

the month. Hell yeah. Quite a way to kick off the month. The description of this film is,

fashionable sorority queen L. Woods follows her ex-boyfriend to law school, where she discovers that

there is more to her than just looks. I mean, I'm glad they call her a queen because that is correct. Yeah. Yeah, that's true. This movie was released on July 13th of the year 2001. And I'm just sort of curious what memories, if any, y'all have of this movie. Molly, I feel you're chomping at the bit. This movie's 25 years old. Yeah, we're nearing the 25th anniversary. It up fast. It is, it is that, I don't like that.

I saw this movie in theaters.

I was 12 years old.

I was like the correct age to see this movie.

Yeah.

You know, it, it was very impactful.

I had the DVD, which was pink.

You can imagine, like the case was pink and the DVD was pink.

I loved this movie.

I still love this movie.

And I use L. Woods as an interview question, answer a lot.

I was asked, particularly Clemson, it's very competitive to be tour guides.

And I was asked in my interview, what fictional

character do you identify with? And I said, L. Woods. Nice. Yeah. So I've always, I've always enjoyed this

movie. There you go. I, um, I've definitely seen it. I, it's not a movie that I saw a bunch

growing up, but I think that it has transcended the lines, the gifts, the moments of this film
