You and I know that when people get old they get crotchety.

They're just something about getting old.

We've seen, you know.

You know, you know that's going to happen happen but I know it's happening and I you know I sense I can

see that in myself I've known about it and of course assumed it would never happen to

me but I realize you know what are these young people doing but you know I I think there is a certain

righteousness in me that has led me sometimes to say every, pastor, sit down and write a blog that nobody has asked

you to write is one elderly lady in the congregation who remains unvisited. And we need to have in mind what we are really there for.

We're not there for the general public knowing what we think about every you know last topic under the sun but we are

there to minister to God's people and to care for them and to get them to heaven

and old Mrs. Jones may you know may not even be able to use a computer.

So that kind of desire to make a statement about yourself or your own convictions is I think

something that we always need to be cautious about. Well, I have the privilege today of talking to a good friend of many years.

It's a wonderful thing when you can say that someone who is a dear friend is someone

at whose feet you have sat and learned from for so many years.
