on your podcasting app comes a basic white man with a rusty microphone in his red right hand.

I'm going to use the term left very loosely in this episode to describe anyone who isn't a right red Republican. Independents who vote blue sometimes or all the time. Establishment liberals who vote blue no matter who, progressives,

true leftists, et cetera. It'll just make things easier. Now, there are two recent events that

are still unfolding that I want to unpack because they're endemic of the infighting on the left

that is spilling over. We have precious little time to get our shit together ahead of the midterms,

and there's a lot that needs to be defended against in the meantime.

And these kind of flare-ups, and that's what they are, reveal the divide on the left that has to be addressed if we're going to mount true opposition to the red-right Republican freight train.

I've done separate videos on each of these issues, but they're related, so I'm pulling

them together today. The first is the Taylor-Lorenz piece in Wired magazine that erupted mostly

in online spaces, and the other is the battle over Texas and California redistricting. This falls

somewhere in between an actual episode and a max unfiltered. I'm going to try to maintain my composure.
