Sure. My name is Leanne Singley. First name is L-E-E,E-A-N-N. Last name is Singley, S-I-N-G-L-E-Y.

And what is your particular professional discipline? I'm a forensic scientist.

Okay. And what areas of forensic science do you specialize in?

So currently, I work mostly in bloodstain pattern analysis.

Okay.

And can you tell the ladies and gentlemen

of the jury about your background

and your training in bloodstain pattern analysis?

Sure.

I guess I'll start with my educational background.

I have a bachelor's degree in biology and a minor in chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh.

I also received a master's degree with a concentration in forensic science from the University of Florida.

In 1987, I was hired as a forensic scientist in the Pennsylvania State Police Crime Laboratory,

so I'll be, I'm just entering now my 39th year in forensics.

I spent about 17 years at the State Police Crime Lab and received some training regarding various areas of forensics,

but in specific to bloodstain
