The Lakers have LeBron James at least locked up for a couple more seasons, signing an extension

just before this show started if you're listening live, two more years, 91 million dollars will

be locked up until the end of the 2024 2025 season unless he decides to opt out, which

he could, which it would still go to my conspiracy theory here, Jeremy Conn, where he could

go just to play with his son, maybe it ends up being in Cleveland, they go, hey, if

you draft, Bronnie, I'll opt out and I'll come sign for a veteran minimum and play one

year there.

I'm just saying this doesn't eliminate any of it, in fact, it still gives him the flexibility

to do that, but at least for the immediate future, if you're the Lakers, you say, okay,

we know LeBron can be here for a couple of years.

Now we got to figure out how we can make this a competitive team and not just make it about

getting into the play internment right now.

Is there more pressure on them than any other team?

Just because of, you know, they went all in, they did get a championship, was it worth

the moves they made to win one championship or did it need to be multiple because it's

the Lakers.
