Summary
In the second episode of The Sports Gossip Show, Madeline and Charlotte talk about how LeBron is Bronny and all the Lakers’ dad, and how Aaron Rodgers looks like a dad who’s trick-or-treating when he wears his outfit (sorry, we mean uniform). We also cover the recent huge trade in the NBA that broke up the ‘Nova Knicks, and dive into how KAT is a lazy nickname for Karl-Anthony Towns — but his girlfriend, Jordyn Woods, will probably be a lot happier in New York. We also need to sit courtside one day.
Then we dive into how Madeline’s heart broke during the Georgia-Alabama game, Madeline asks Charlotte to “explain Arch Manning,” and then we talk about how sports nepo babies are different from other nepo babies.
Also, Tom Brady and Baker Mayfield had a dust-up about what it means to be stressed, and the White Sox owners apologized for being the worst team in baseball.

| 0:00.0 | Hi, Charlotte. Hi, Madeline. We launched a podcast last week. That was crazy. I cannot believe the amount of love, support, shares, downloads we've gotten. |
| 0:23.6 | I mean, I've been so overwhelmed and I'm just so excited because it means that there are people |
| 0:28.6 | out there who loves sports gossip as much as we do. I feel like we're creating like a little |
| 0:32.4 | community of Wikipedia, Personal Life section, hive or something. I don't know. we need a nickname. We do need a nickname. If anybody has any ideas. Also, we added video. Someone was like, can we have a video of it? And we were like, okay, and somehow put that together. Shout out to my husband, Tyler, who's a shout out. An actual producer. I think every episode needs a husband shout-out. Yeah. |
| 0:54.4 | Well, they're all turning. |
| 0:55.4 | They're being really good husbands. They are. They are. We could do a sports gossip episode about our husbands. 100%. But it would be boring because they're great. Yeah. We're more interesting. Yeah. Alone. Just kidding. Just kidding. No. We love our husbands. They're the best. Also, something that's been very moving to me is that without anybody behind this, the amount of downloads we've gotten has been really staggering, which means that people are telling their friends about it. Yeah. Which is if you have friends that you think would like this, please keep sharing, keep |
| 1:28.3 | inviting them in. This is a show for everybody. As we said in the first episode, we are not going to |
| 1:33.2 | make anyone feel dumb. No, never. And please keep spreading the word, the good word of sports gossip. |

| 2:08.7 | Yeah. Or that guy who made that new energy bar. You know that one it's like called? |
| 2:13.3 | Soilent. No, no, no. I mean, energetically, I think it's like Soilent. I've been served TikToks with people getting it. It's called David, I think. Wait, the bar. The name of the bar, I believe, is called David. I don't know if the man who founded it is also named David, but he also, I believe, founded RX bar that are in every checkout line of every whole food you've never been to. That's starting a clothing company and being like, this is my clothes, Sheila. Sheila. I mean, I would also, not a bad name. Purchase an energy, drink or bar. This is my sofa, Matthew. That's a little weird. I don't know about that. Anyways. We have a lot. We have a gossip because yes, we do. What should we start |
| 2:53.2 | with? I mean, there's, I'm, oh, there's so much. There's so much. I feel like you need to |

| 3:14.1 | Wild. |
| 3:18.3 | LeBron James and LeBron James Jr. are on the same team. |
| 3:23.8 | Now, LeBron James Jr., who is referred to as Brony, will not be on the Lakers, Lakers, |
| 3:24.9 | probably to start. He's going to spend time with the not be on the Lakers, Lakers, probably to start. |
| 3:43.0 | He's going to spend time with the G League with the practice squad. So he's not going to be like a bench warmer at, I mean, he could be. Crypto Arena, which is Staples Center. Let's be real. Yeah, I will never call it. I don't know why I even just said it as someone who lived in L.A. for almost a decade. It's stable center. It's the staple center. |
| 3:41.6 | It will always be the state. And you know what? The New Clippers Arena might also be the stable center. Ooh. Interesting. Not the Intuit Dome. I mean, dome? Yeah, that's weird. Doesn't work. I guess it's sort of a dome. But yeah. So, Brian, I mean, he might be. |
