Podcast Network. I'm Pete, joined by Darius and Mike. And yesterday, we got a couple of bits of Lakers

news. And that's always exciting this time of year. First, Piles jersey going up in the Raptors in March of this coming season.

We're going to do a whole pod and probably a couple of pods on Powell down the line.

But just wanted to acknowledge that and congratulate Powell.

Really excited it for that night.

But the big news of the day was LeBron James reportedly agreed to an extension with the Lakers

that effectively puts him with the Lakers one more guaranteed year.

So not just this upcoming season, but the one after that with a player option for the

following year, the 24-25 season.

And then also a 15% trade kicker is part of that as well. This is amazing news.

I know it can be easy to be like, ah, yeah, we have LeBron. We figured that he would come back,

but it's worth celebrating. Despite his age and how far he is into his career, he was still a superstar this past season.

And I still believe he can be the best player on a championship team.
