filing recently and constantly on Long War Journal about the threat from the north, from the south,

from the east to the state of Israel.

Right now we go to a mystery.

The rocketing from north of the Latani River from Lebanon toward the border region of Israel.

Who are they and why?

David, you're posting at the long war journal answers this question where are

the lebanese army forces meant to be patrolling and providing security in bachar and north of latani

the answer is there nowhere is that the problem dav David, that the L.A.F.

does not show up. Good evening to you. Good evening, John. Well, that's part of the problem.

The other part of the problem is when the L.A.F. does show up. Mere presence isn't the salve or the

solution to all the problems. They are present,

and they have deployed in some number south of the Latani River, and yet we constantly see,

as you can see from my reports that you're referencing, there Israeli strikes south of the

Latani River against Hezbollah assets or

operatives, either transferring weapons or engaged in some activity. So their mere presence isn't

shutting down the activities of either Hezbollah or other armed groups. They need to do more.

Now, when we look at the rocket strikes that launched at Israel,

you know, over the past two weeks now,

they happen just north of the Latani River.

But that should not make a difference in that if you're a sovereign country, if you're a self-respecting country to any degree,

then you don't just control or seek to control the territory that you're obligated to
